Key Art Awards 2006: Best movie promos
Το Sin City ξεχώρισε στις υποψηφιότητες των 36ων Key Art Awards του Hollywood Reporter, που ανακοινώθηκαν νωρίτερα αυτήν την εβδομάδα. Η ταινία του Robert Rodriguez (και του Frank Miller), έβαλε τον τίτλο της σε 9 απ’ τις κατηγορίες που βραβεύει το έγκριτο περιοδικό, για να γιορτάσει τα επιτεύγματα της χρονιάς που πέρασε στον τομέα του κινηματογραφικού marketing. Ακολούθησαν τα Crash, The 40 Year Old Virgin και Saw II, με έξι υποψηφιότητες το καθένα.
Τα Key Art Awards, είναι τα πιο σημαντικά βραβεία του Hollywood για την προώθηση των προϊόντων του, και απονέμονται σε όλα αυτά τα μικρά πραγματάκια που μας κάνουν να σηκωθούμε να πάμε σινεμά, κι όταν πάμε εκεί, να θέλουμε να ξαναπάμε για να δούμε κάτι άλλο. Kαι βέβαια, στα χαριτωμένα κουτάκια και τα γυαλιστερά εξώφυλλα που πιάνουν το μάτι μας όταν είμαστε στο videoclub. Από τα trailers και τις αφίσες, μέχρι τα taglines που τις συνοδεύουν και τα stands που γεμίζουν το φουαγιέ, αλλά κι από τα sites, και τα τηλεοπτικά spot, μέχρι και τις καταχωρήσεις σε εφημερίδες και περιοδικά, τα Key Art Awards καλύπτουν 29 κατηγορίες διαφημιστικής καμπάνιας, απ’ τα οποία ψηφίζουν και διαλέγουν τα καλύτερα, «άνθρωποι του χώρου». Και θα μας ανακοινώσουν τί αποφάσισαν, την άλλη Δευτέρα, 19 Ιουνίου.
